Enhanced Leadership Simulation Experience
With 2022 wrapping up, the Pinsight team would like to highlight one of its most significant accomplishments over the last year: a full rework of our simulation experience.
Pinsight Leadership Simulations are now enhanced with a new user interface that is designed to make the Pinsight platform more user-friendly, inclusive, and secure. Through a focus on data security, accessibility, and ease of use, the redesigned leadership simulation has seen increases in enjoyment of the assessment process and feelings that the assessment is fair.
Pinsight’s updated simulations have introduced a number of new features.
Focus on Accessibility
To improve the accessibility of the Pinsight experience for participants, the platform is now fully compliant with the recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Through WCAG compliance, Pinsight simulations fully accommodate individuals with disabilities to ensure that they have the opportunity to perform to their full potential.
The platform has also been modernized through an updated user interface that more accurately models a day-in-the-life of a leader. Participants now work from a dashboard that is more responsive and easier to navigate. They also now have the ability to share their screen during exercises, a common practice in the world of virtual work.
These updates have resulted in increased satisfaction and perceived fairness among participants, from whom we received positive comments like “A very agile platform with dynamic exercises that allow you to show different skills”, “Explores the abilities of each participant effectively and efficiently”, or ” It is real and technically briliant.”

Tighter Security and Privacy
The update to the platform has also resulted in a significant tightening of our privacy and security processes. Pinsight now offers multi-factor and single sign-on authentication, as well as new password policies that align with current best practices. Pinsight’s data is also now secured through cloud-based encrypted databases to maintain privacy and data protection.
New Analytics for Impact
In addition to these important updates to our simulations and security, Pinsight has also developed several new analytics tools for our clients to help with the selection and growth of their leaders. Pinsight’s new Overview analytic provides a simplified view of participant results to help streamline interpretation and decision-making.
The new Development analytic provides a snapshot of a leader’s skill development using the Pinsight App and provides standardized coaching suggestions to help guide efforts at strengthening leadership skills in the future. These tools represent a renewed focus on making our analytics impactful, easy to use, and helpful for the workflow of our clients.
