Increase Diversity in Leadership Roles

Fortune 100 insurance company | $47 billion revenue | 56,000 employees

Problem

The C-suite called for more objective metrics of leaders in preparation for company-wide talent reviews, wanting to take proactive action to place the most capable leaders in key roles. The company needed to quickly assess top 300 executives that were geographically dispersed.

Why Pinsight

The organization selected Pinsight over other assessments because of it’s need for a globally scalable, standardized, executive assessment that could be deployed quickly, in various geographic locations and languages.

Pinsight also provided them with an engaging executive-level assessment that would not only provide accurate data for talent reviews but also feed into participants’ development.

Outcome

The Pinsight assessment was unbiased and was free of  unintentional discrimination (adverse impact) against women, those over 40, and racial minorities. In line with other research, women actually performed better on the assessment. Hence, basing promotion and succession decisions on the assessment results can lead to increased diversity in leadership roles.
