How to Initiate a Role-Play Call

Overview

This article explains how to initiate a scheduled role-play call from your assessor dashboard.

If this is your first role-play call, first read the setting up your system article below.

Instructions

1. Log into the platform at app.pinsight.com.

2. Click Assignments.

3. Click To Do.

4. Click the IT Check button to check your computer’s sound and video 10-minutes before every role-play call.

4. Click Video call at the scheduled assessment time. The Video call link activates after the live simulation begins.

If connection issues arise, please use the troubleshooting techniques listed below:

1. Refresh your browser (Control F5 on a PC or Command R on a Mac)
2. Launch a new Chrome page in a New Incognito window or a new Edge page in a New InPrivate window:
   (Go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the URL address bar, select the 3rd option down, New Incognito Window (Chrome) or New InPrivate window (Edge) and then launch app.pinsight.com again and enter your login credentials.
